Habitat

Wispwinks are said to live everywhere, and nowhere. They might dwell under beds, behind curtains, inside teacups, or in the thoughts you forget mid-sentence. But no one's ever seen one or caught one in the act.

What It Eats

Nobody knows for sure what the wipswink eats. Some believe wispwinks snack on lost socks, lost change from the sofa, or stray hair ties and bobby pins. Others say they feed on important receipts or the last piece of puzzles.

How It Moves

It is rumored that Wispwinks float, flicker, or flit from place to place using methods that defy understanding. Some swear they’ve felt a cold tickle at their ankle, or heard a sneeze when no one was around.

Fun Facts

• There are stories of strange footprints appearing in mud, or books going missing and reappearing upside down, which might be signs of a Wispwink. Or not.

• The only known sighting was reported by someone who quickly forgot what they saw. Or dreamed. Or imagined.

• The Wispwink may not even exist. But if it does, it’s the best hide-and-seek player in all of magical history.
