Trey Bumbersnatch
Screenwriter
Introduction
Trey Bumbersnatch writes wacky and exciting scripts for movies and cartoons. He’s the creator of the hit animated series Tuna Patrol, about a team of fish who solve underwater mysteries using gadgets made of kelp.
Early Life
Trey was born on May 30, 1983, in Blimp, Texas. He always loved making people laugh and spent a lot of time acting out scenes with sock puppets and silly voices. His first short film was called The Day My Banana Turned Into a Spaceship—and yes, it was just as weird as it sounds.
Later Years
Trey now lives in California where he works with animators, voice actors, and directors. He still writes most of his ideas in a notebook that smells like bubble gum. He is alive and working on a new cartoon about a talking cactus.
Contributions
Trey’s work has made millions of kids laugh and imagine what it would be like if fish could talk or if robots had dance battles. His shows are known for their fast jokes and weird but lovable characters.
Fun Facts
He once wrote a movie script entirely using only words he found on cereal boxes.
He names most of his characters after types of cheese.
